A One-off (also spelled one-shot in American English) is something that is made, done, or occurs only a single time and is not part of a recurring series."
Most print services are built for companies ordering in bulk. If you just need one part for one project, the price rarely makes sense. I'm building a service for you instead.
Anyone with a project and a modest budget: hobbyists, makers, students, small startups, and people who just want a broken part replaced. If you are new to 3D printing, that's fine. I'll help you work out what you need.
How a one-off service differs from print services built for bulk orders.

| Material | PLA | Usually in black, white or grey colour |
|---|---|---|
| Cost of print | £30.00 | Cost of UK energy multiplied by the time to print the model |
| Post-production | £4.00 | Time and material used to clean and inspect the completed part |
| Delivery | £5.00 | Cost of packaging and delivery |
| Total | £39.00 |
No minimum orders and no enterprise overhead being passed on to you.
No showroom, no sales team. Just a focused workshop and a simple process, so more of what you pay goes into the print itself.
You see the price before you commit. No surprise fees, and no need to know jargon to get a quote.
I work in manufacturing engineering, taking products from first prototype through to production. I've spent over a decade around precision manufacturing, where getting the details right matters.
That taught me something simple: a good part doesn't have to be expensive. It needs the right material, a sensible design, and someone who pays attention. For years I was told by many that they have an idea for a product or a part they want to repair/replace but cannot find nor afford the equipment to make it happen, I want to change that.
If you have never used a 3D printer, getting a part made can feel like a barrier: unfamiliar file formats, minimum order values, and quotes that seem aimed at someone else.
A lot of good projects stall right there. A repair, a prototype, a custom bracket, a gift. They don't need a factory, just a decent print at a fair price.
I work in manufacturing, and I know how a part gets from a file to your hands. I believe it can be done simply and affordably for small orders, so that's what I'm doing.
I am NOT doing this to make a fortune as the cost I calculate is TO cover the cost of material, energy and other cost to cover carrying helping othe. I have a good job that I enjoy with comfortable lifestyle, so I my reason for starting this is to encourage more people to learn about 3D printing and 3D modeling like CAD. I hope that this will encourage future mechanical engineers for the future.
New to 3D printing? That's fine. Tell me about your project and I'll help you work out what you need, with clear advice and a price.
